From the desk of the Infinity COO, The Copycat Kid.
Adrian out, Roderick in.
Infinity Wrestling are appalled to have
learnt that Infinity World Champion, Adrian Flynn, was found attacked at
Infinity City High School, the city’s number one ranked educational
establishment, on the eve on Tuesday 4th December 2013. Adrian works
as the school’s wrestling coach, a program that has been given great acclaim
since Flynn’s championship victory at Immortalis. Unfortunately for all of us
at Infinity Flynn was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently being assessed
by the city’s finest doctors.
At this time we encourage the school’s
staff and pupils to step forward with any revealing information as we investigate
the root of the attack. At this time we are providing support to Adrian’s wife
and his students in this troubling time.
Adrian was scheduled to team with Matt
Rydell against Taylor Westfall and Murray Muir at Infinity #6 but given the
circumstances Adrian has been pulled from his match.
“As a precautionary measure we have
withdrawn Adrian Flynn from his match at Infinity in five days,” TCK announced.
“As our World Champion we feel that it’s necessary to protect our own
interests, and Flynn’s, as he prepares for his first title defence. Will this
setback deter from the world knowing Adrian’s opponent? No. Adrian, despite his
current status, will find out like the rest of the City come Monday.”
Adrian’s departure from the match has
put his second successive match against Muir and Westfall in doubt, but the COO
wasn’t done addressing Infinity #6 rumours.
“Roderick is going to resurface at long
last to team with Matt,” the Purity Champion goes on to say. “It’s time he put
to rest his defeat against Mack, it’s in the best interest of the entire
company to see Blackmore rear his head again. He’s our leader, and a definite
asset for Infinity. I know Murray very well from our encounters and perhaps he
can knock some reality into Roderick. Either way as show runner it is a win-win
for me. Roderick is going to make his televised debut and this match, despite
circumstances involving Adrian, has been given a new and exciting spice. Copy
That.”
Roderick made his debut at Infinity’s
first PPV, Immortalis, where he was
defeated by A.C. Mack in an Under the Dome match.
